| The original Hams Restaurant
opened in Greensboro, North Carolina, in the early 1930s.
Offering curb service, kosher meats, and deli take-out food,
Hams became known as a gathering place for both old and young
alike. Over the years, we have maintained our reputation for
fun and casual dining. In
1984, a young businessman from Morganton, NC recognized
the exciting potential of Hams and set forth to acquire property.
This man, Charlie Erwin, is the current owner and president
of the corporation. In keeping with Hams tradition, Charlie
has continually made improvements, thus promoting the expansion
of Hams Restaurants into markets which has made us one of
the fastest growing independently owned corporations in the
Carolinas.
The Company's Goal
Our primary goal at Hams is
to continue doing what we have done
in the past that has made us successful. The current goal
is to open three restaurants per year for the next three to
four years, while building a stronger infrastructure so that
explosive growth can be obtained in the coming decade. |
