Sharing The Ham's Secrets

Until now, Charlie Erwin, the president and CEO of Ham's wanted to keep the secrets of Ham's all to himself, but he has finally been convinced to share the wealth of knowledge with a few select franchisees.

Charlie took over the operations of the original Ham's in Greensboro in 1984. Since that time, he has opened 20 more Ham's Restaurants throughout North Carolina and in Danville, Virginia. He has been involved in other restaurant concepts such as Longhorn Steaks, Golden Corral, the Blue Marlin Restaurant, and several others, but he has decided to focus his energy on Ham's because he feels it is the best concept out there.

He signed his first franchise partner in January, 2004. They have been so happy with their results that they plan to open a 2nd location in Morehead City in the near future. Because of their success, Charlie has decided to let a few more candidates in on the secret of Ham's Restaurants. We now have franchise locations in Harrisonburg, VA, Lynchburg, VA, Richmond, VA, Jacksonville, FL, and Morganton, NC.

    7 1/2 % paid to the franchise for cooperative advertising. At this point, we will allow our franchisees to make their own decisions about marketing).
